Registration opens in advance online  or by making alternative arrangements with the organizers.

How we play

Opening ceremonies start at noon – and will include the voting and awarding of the prizes for decorated dinghy and costumes.

Prizes will be awarded for Best Decorated Dinghy, Best Dressed Group, and Best Individual Costume as selected by participant ballots.

The mass departure will take place at the end of the opening ceremonies.

The card stops can be visited in any order.

At each stop, participants must show their wristband and will be provided with a card inside a sealed envelope. One card per wristband.

THIS IS NOT A RACE, but you must return to Cedar Springs by 3pm. Those arriving late will be disqualified from the tournament.

Envelopes must be presented UNOPENED at the registration table.

Opening any one of the envelopes will result in either disqualification or the need to purchase an extra card.

Extra cards will be available for purchase for $10. Maximum two per hand, while supplies last.

The game is five card stud.

Top three hands as determined by organizers will win prizes. Lowest non-poker hand will also receive a prize. There may be other random prizes.

A tie will be determined by cutting a standard deck of cards. High card will win. Aces are high.

All organizers’ decisions are final.

Everyone must sign a Liability Waiver and Disclaimer before they can participate in our event.

Forms will be available at registration, but in order to streamline the process, we ask that participants print out the document from the website (click on Waiver in the menu bar) and read, sign and have it witnessed in advance to present at check in.

Thank you.
